Programs this summer

 

Learn to Fish is an exciting program designed to introduce participants to recreational fishing. The age-specific, fun, and hands on lessons make it a perfect fit for youth and their families, as well as organized groups of all ages and abilities. To date the program has been a tremendous success, reaching over 30,000 youth and their families across the province!

 

This summer's Learn to Fish programs are for youth aged 5 - 15 (with the exception of the Tyee Spit event, see details below); parent supervision is mandatory. All equipment and tackle is provided. The program is free!

  • Casting & Retrieving

Location: Tyee Spit

Dates & Times: Friday, July 10, 6PM - 9PM and Saturday, July 11, 2PM - 5PM

Program details: Registration required; contact the City of Campbell River at (250) 286-1161. Meet at the north end of Tyee Spit at the Learn to Fish tent. This program is for youth 6 - 13 years of age.
