Eena Lake
Description: Eena Lake, an easy drive from Prince George, has evolved into a successful four-season recreational fishery. Its natural beauty, high catch rates of quality rainbow trout and ease of access, attract anglers of all ages to its shores.
Nearest town/city: North of Prince George
Driving directions: Drive north on Highway 97 (Hart Highway) from Prince George; turn left on Chief Lake Rd. After driving 12 km, turn right, following Chief Lake Rd to Eena Lake Rd. From Eena Lake Rd, turn left onto Woods Rd, right onto Qinn Rd and follow to the boat launch at the lake.
Facilities: Gravel boat launch
Fish in the lake: Stocked rainbow trout
Tips: The lake is ideally suited for spring-to-fall fishing from a boat or from several good access points along the shore.
Over the winter, it's a popular ice fishing destination, particularly in the weed beds at the south end of the lake.


Kwitzil Lake
(also known as Gravel Pit Lake)
Nearest town/city: West of Prince George
Driving directions: From Prince George, drive west on Highway 16 for 32 km. Approximately 2 km after passing the second Telechick Rd on your right, take the short road to the left off the highway to the lake. If you reach Isle Pierre Rd on the right or Norman Lake Rd. on the left you have gone too far.
Facilities: Day-use parking lot; no facilities.
Fish in the lake: Stocked brook trout

 

Nulki Lake

Nearest town/city: Southwest of Vanderhoof
Driving directions: From Vanderhoof, drive south on Kenny Dam Rd. for about 14 km. Pass through Stoney Creek Reserve and continue for another 3-4 km (still on Kenny Dam Rd.) to the Saik'uz Park and Campground. Turn left into the campground.
Facilities: Full facilities including a good boat launch, camping, cabins, potlatch house/community hall.
Fish in the lake: Stocked and wild rainbow trout
